“Off The Charts” Podcast Launching Soon!

Most people do not know this, but if I had to choose another career I would definitely go into neuroscience. I am fascinated by the way our brains interpret the world, and the way we interact with one another. I knew I wanted to start a podcast on this topic, and I chose to focus it on the medical field.

There is a wealth of research out there suggesting that the way a doctor communicates important topics, such as terminal and chronic illnesses, is associated with a better quality of life for patients. Most upcoming medical students and physicians often have limited resources teaching them how to communicate well, and it’s becoming more recognized as a vital part of being a physician.

I couldn’t find a podcast out there covering this important topic, so guess what? I have created my own podcast called “Off The Charts” to take patients from just being a chart of information, to looking at how improved communication can result in better care. This podcast is a resource for medical professionals, students, and anyone curious about techniques to communicate better with patients.
